My grandmother will likely be dead by then (she was born 1928). Hell, considering her lifestyle I doubt my mother (born 1957) will still be alive. Also, considering my (born 1990) mental problems there's a chance I'll be dead by 2019.

This is not good.

It is ridiculous and an offense to the people of the country who granted the copyright, understanding that it was to be for a fixed period. That fixed period turned out to be rather extensible when our "representatives" got their greasy mitts on it. If our politicians could rid the country of public domain, I believe they would.

Whatever the case, it is the law.
